VIEWS FROM THE PIT

Last night, Drake and Future sold out the Staples Center once again for night two of the Summer Sixteen Tour in Los Angeles. Concert goers arrived hours in advance to see the “6ix God” in full form even though doors opened at 6PM.

Roy Woods of O.V.O. kicked things off and performed hits like “How I feel”, “Gwan Big up Urself” and many more off his recent release Walking at Dawn. DVSN followed suit with dimmed lights and a choir trio that would provide improvised feelings for the women and men in attendance.”With Me” and “Too Deep” echoed the Staples Center and this was the moment when fans realized that they were in for a memorable evening.

Precisely at 9:30 PM, things got rather dark and Drake rose from a platform as Summer Sixteen rang out the Staples Center with fireworks and cued up bass lines. Drake performed a catalog of fan favorites and hits from Views before bringing out Future to turn the place out. Drake was all business on stage and he definitely made it a night for his fans to remember.
