ETNIES EXPANDS SUPREME COMFORT COLLECTION WITH THE SCOUT XT

Three years ago etnies launched a silhouette that was new to the skateboarding industry called the Scout, and today etnies is revealing the new Scout XT.  The shoe created by etnies was unique when the Scout debuted, and after its initial launch, the industry followed suit with many brands attempting to chase the Scout’s success.

As a skateboarder-owned company, etnies improved the brand’s most comfortable shoe in the “Supreme Comfort” collection with a new pillow-like memory foam insole, reinforced heels and quarter panels for additional support and stability. The addition of wide spandex internal tongue straps on the new Scout XT provides a snug, comfortable subtle slip-on fit and feel.

The etnies Scout XT is now available for $79.99 on etnies.com and at your local skateshop in white, tan, slate, olive, and black.

ETNIES X PLAN B ALLIANCE DEPLOYS FOOTWEAR COLLABORATION

Nov. 3, 2014 (Lake Forest, Calif.) – Longtime allies, etnies and Plan B, have reunited to collaborate on a footwear collection. The collection coincides with the release of Plan B’s first full-length video since 1997, “TRUE.”  The two brands have had ties since 1992 when Sal Barbier skated etnies Raps in Plan B’s legendary first video, “Questionable.”

Today Ryan Sheckler leads the troops, continuing the alliance between etnies and Plan B. The etnies x Plan B collaboration collection includes the styles that he uses and abuses regularly – the Marana, Marana E-Lite and the Scout all featuring STI Evolution® Foam. The Marana was designed and developed for Ryan to withstand the harsh demands of his skating, and the Marana E-Lite is the newest and most progressive style in the Marana Bloodline.  The lightweight, durable and high-impact rebound cushioning Scout is the supreme comfort shoe that these guys wear anytime they are off their boards.

FIRST OF THE MONTH ADVENTURE

Lately, we’ve been getting pretty tired of the “burnt out” OC skate spots. When we reference “burnt” we literally mean we have a hard time listing a trick that hasn’t been done. The worst feeling is taking the time and  liberty to land a trick and then someone mentions that it may not be useable because [insert pro name here] landed the same exact trick back in 2003.

In turn, we hopped in the box and decided to go on an adventure. The crew rolled out to the Valley to check out a few spots with our friend Manny. Long story short, we made it to Valley then received a pin to the spot we were going to meet up at… which wasn’t in the Valley. We were in the wrong part of town so we headed to Calabasas to meet up with the crew. It’s about 2:30pm at this point and the little homie Vito just woke up from his nap as we all slowly get out of the car to stretch our legs. Kane gets well acquainted with the rail and decided to call it after getting a clean backside feeble. Mikey battled the spot for some time and walked away with the “W”. After a quick bite to eat at Chipotle & Panda, we hit Paul’s infamous training facility for some more after hours training and fun times. The day came to a close and we headed back to our respective area code to relax. The weekend is what you make it.. and quite frankly the best times are just going for it and having no expectations of how the day will end up. Good times and many more ahead. Over and out.
